The company has been operating since 1966 and has benefitted from a number of long term repeat business clients since its inception.

D A Cant has built an enviable reputation for providing a first class groundworks service to a diverse range of clients on projects throughout East Anglia. The company has been operating since 1967 and has benefitted from a number of long term repeat business clients since its inception- many of which the business has worked with for over 20 years.
Sustainable growth year on year has built the company as a group to turnover in excess of £25m per year with 100+ members of staff. We have a proven track record for successfully delivering projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £15m+. From our office location in Dedham, we operate throughout Essex and Suffolk.

As a business we continually reinvest in our Plant, Fleet and Personnel to provide the high levels of service that our clients expect. The vast majority of our site staff and management teams boast over a decade of experience with the company, enabling us to consistently deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, project after project. From the tender stage all the way through to project completion, our commitment lies in delivering a professional, results-driven approach

As a company we utilise expert in-house and external H&S advisors to keep our workforce safe and ensure that we are always in compliance with the latest Health and Safety Legislation. We provide our staff with regular new training opportunities to expand their knowledge and capabilities, as well as provide our clients with the comfort that our teams are fully competent in all aspects of our work. To maintain the high standards that we set, site audits are carried out monthly by our external advisors and reported back to our internal management team as well as our clients.
